Work you’ll do:

We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll play a pivotal role in collaborating with manufacturing clients to identify their unique challenges and architect robust solutions on GCP that drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and optimize production processes.

• Partner with manufacturing clients to understand their specific business needs and pain points.
• Leverage your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design and implement cloud-based solutions that address critical manufacturing challenges (e.g., supply chain optimization, predictive maintenance, quality control).
• Utilize Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI to develop AI-powered applications that automate tasks, generate insights from data, and optimize production processes.
• Build and integrate data pipelines using Python or SQL to collect, clean, and transform manufacturing data for analysis and visualization.
• Work with clients to implement data management best practices on GCP, ensuring data security, scalability, and compliance.
• Develop and execute test scripts using Python or SQL to validate the functionality and performance of GCP solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure seamless integration of solutions within the client’s existing infrastructure.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in GCP and manufacturing technology trends.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase the value proposition of GCP solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing consulting or a related role.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing cloud-based solutions for manufacturing clients.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.).
• Expertise in using Python or SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Experience with Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes in a manufacturing context is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of key manufacturing processes and challenges.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client sites.
