Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Science Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data science in the areas of Sales, Supply Chain, Product & Pricing, Marketing and CRM within the Hi-Tech Industry. You will be responsible for management and delivery of Data & AI projects including developing AI models/applying GenAI techniques in areas such as sales analytics, demand planning, inventory management, customer analytics, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility of the project management and delivery, including thought leadership in problem solving and developing recommendations
• Lead and manage a team of data scientists to collective success.
• Develop and implement AI models to address business challenges in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product and Pricing and Customer Relationships within the Hi-Tech Industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy models into production environments.
• Develop relationship with client stakeholders and accounts to identify opportunities for Data & AI solutions.
• Design and develop machine learning models using Python, with proficiency in NLP and other ML techniques like regression, time series analysis, segmentation, etc.
• Architect functional solutions and provide technical guidance to enhance the performance and scalability of AI systems.
• Leverage cloud platforms, with preference for Azure, and experience with GCP/AWS is also valued.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/MBA in a quant discipline – in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field from premier institute
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on areas as mentioned above.
• Proven track record of developing AI models relevant to the domains mentioned above, such as sales analytics, demand planning, inventory management, customer analytics, etc.
• Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in NLP, Regression, Time Series analysis, Segmentation techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and familiarity with GCP/AWS.
• Knowledge of LLM exposure and experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Llama 2, Claude 2, Hugging Face, etc., will be an advantage.
• Proven track record in driving sales and helping achieve sales target.
