What you’ll do

• Develop meaningful metrics to benchmark AI solutions.
• Integrate the metrics with the ABAP AI Benchmarking Framework.
• Analyze and compare different metrics for specific AI based solutions.

Context of the project
Within SAP, the ABAP Platform is responsible for the application server ABAP containing its programming model and also the ABAP programming language. In the area of application frameworks, the ABAP AI Benchmarking Framework aims at benchmarking AI solutions on the ABAP server for various applications.

Goal of the project
The project aims at investigating different metrics and strategies to benchmark AI based solutions. Additionally, these strategies and and metrics shall be integrated within the existing framework.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Computer skills: A background in data science, expericence with large language models or software engeneering is beneficial.
• Language skills: English fluently, German language would be useful as well.
• Soft skills: self-dependent, proactive style of working, be keen to gain new knowledge and dig into details
