Tech Lead Machine Learning Engineer, Branding Ads Full-time

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Tech Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join a leading global team focused on building technologies that drive business growth through branded advertising. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of ad products including reservation ads, auction ads, and content ads that help brands increase visibility and achieve business goals. You will have the opportunity to influence the entire ad delivery tech stack, including ad bidding, ranking, and forecasting, while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative monetization products that enhance user engagement and generate revenue.
• Lead the development of a large-scale Ads system, working with a world-class team of engineers.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of Ads algorithms using advanced machine learning techniques.
• Develop and enhance Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV) technologies for content understanding and taxonomy classification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features quickly and efficiently in a rapidly evolving environment.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant work experience.

• Strong programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Go, C/C++, Python.
• Ability to think critically, with strong problem-solving skills and a clear approach to designing solutions.
• Professional experience in machine learning, data mining, data analysis, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of key advertising technologies, including brand ads, content ads, auction systems, bidding strategies, ranking, and ad forecasting.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, ranking systems, recommendation systems, backend engineering, large-scale systems, data science, or full-stack development.
• Strong product sense with a proven track record of designing and implementing impactful product features.
