Senior Software Engineer, AI (6+ years exp) Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key technical contributor as the company scales.
• Play a leadership role in the end-to-end development of features, with a focus on architectural decisions and evaluating different approaches.
• Continuously improve technology and processes, optimizing for iteration speed while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate on product strategy and UX, shaping the early-stage tech stack, product, and engineering organization.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong interest in product-focused applications of ML/AI, with a focus on production environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, particularly Python or TypeScript.
• Understanding of ML concepts such as supervised/unsupervised/self-supervised learning, neural networks, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with modern ML/AI technologies, including natural language processing (NLP), LLMs (e.g., GPT-3+, open-source models), RAG architectures, and their applications.
• Experience in architecting systems and data pipelines for document-heavy data sets, including document processing, search, and classification.
• Experience in developing, testing, evaluating, and deploying ML models.
• Ability to contribute to all aspects of product strategy and UX.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with modern web tech stacks including TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, Hasura, Postgres, Python, and AWS.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/delivery best practices.
