Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager-Business Analyst-AI/ML!

The Sr Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to understand the cross functional (domain) business requirements for process improvement, workflow mapping, user story and visual development techniques and agree the functional design to meet those requirements preferably utilising and promoting reusable, common AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Business Analysis:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of Banking processes and Operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and ensure compliance with the solution architecture

• Facilitating the review of deliverables with agreed stakeholders, ensuring issues relating to own work products are resolved satisfactorily.

• Contributing to estimates and plans or to impact assessments for projects.

• Identifying and escalating risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, with suggested mitigating actions wherever possible

• Thorough understanding of agile ceremonies and provide domain leadership in these ceremonies. Participate in daily scrum meetings and take the initiative to organize other necessary meetings and ceremonies

• Script User Stories, Review User Stories, provide functional guidance for creating wireframes, review wireframes.

• Establish the product backlog and work with the product/process owners to ensure that feature-level user stories are prioritized and accurately reflect customer and business priorities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts and data scientists.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Lead multiple analytics projects to design, build, and launch dashboards and other unified scaled people insights solutions which will include requirements gathering, planning, development, implementation, stakeholder management, and on-going support.

• Leverage complex data sources to extract meaningful data. Conduct strategic analyses to inform business decisions and actionable recommendations to drive business strategy

• Create interactive dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and performance metrics to stakeholders

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure analytics practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management and analytics activities.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) (preferred)

• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)(Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; master’s degree preferred.

Essential skills:

• Should have experience as a business analyst.

• Knowledge of Statistics and Data Analytics would be added advantage.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.

• Must have exceptional soft skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns.

• Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems and propose solutions that address expressed needs
