Adobe Advertising Cloud

Adobe Advertising is a combination of a ‘Demand Side Platform (DSP)’ and a ‘Spend Optimizer’ that helps customers plan, buy, measure, and optimize their digital media (across CTV, Online Video, Display, Search, Social, and Retail Media Networks). We solve hard problems across big data (participating in 400 bn auctions a day), low latency (20 millisecond response time for every auction), and AI / ML. We build product experiences that customers love for generating actionable insights. We help the largest global advertisers maximize the impact of their paid media budgets by delivering connected and personalized experiences to their consumers.

As a Machine Learning Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of digital experiences. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving flawless execution and delivering powerful technology that empowers users globally.

What you’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of skilled machine learning engineers to design and implement ML algorithms/models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Develop and deploy scalable machine learning solutions that optimize Adobe’s products and services, deliver value to clients and drive customer adoption.

• Consistently follow standard methodologies in software engineering, ensuring code of high quality and flawless performance.

• Drive innovation through research and experimentation, encouraging an environment where new ideas can flourish.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of ML models, making necessary adjustments to compete at the highest level.

What you need to succeed

• Degree and/or equivalent experience in applied Machine Learning.

• Proven experience managing and leading machine learning engineering teams.

• Outstanding knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

• Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in a production environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and diverse workplace, embracing different perspectives and ideas.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A total of 10+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in managerial roles in an applied Machine Learning setting

• PhD or master’s in computer science/ applied math/Statistics/related field

• Experience and domain expertise in Digital ad technologies desirable

• Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to lead a team while working autonomously.

• Proven management experience with highly diverse and global teams.

• Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to effectively manage in a high-growth, matrixed organization.

• Track record of delivering cloud-scale, data-driven products, and services that are widely adopted with large customer bases.

• An ability to think strategically, look around corners, and create a vision for the current quarter, the year, and five years down the road.

• A relentless pursuit of great customer experiences and continuous improvements to the product.
