Job Description

• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers) to integrate ML models into our products and services.
• Conduct data cleansing, exploration and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology in machine learning and apply this knowledge to tackle complex problems in innovative ways.
• Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create an effective AI roadmap for responsible areas.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team’s knowledge and expertise in ML.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy (including HIPAA) and security regulations in all machine learning implementations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on machine learning.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning with 1 year minimum in deep-learning, particularly in a senior or lead role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with large language models (including fine-tuning, RAG) is a plus
• Experience in the healthcare sector and understanding of health data (EMR, genomics, wearables) is also desirable.
