Senior Engineer, Embedded Radar AI/ML

In that role, you will work on key enabling technologies for ADAS and AD features.

Your Role:
• Development of artificial intelligence (AI) focused perception systems
• Bringing Aptivs latest Radar ML technology to embedded devices by defining proper interfaces, efficient implementation and real-time integration of algorithms for AI SoCs
• Develop and apply tools and methods enabling related activities
• Support hardware selection processes and become company expert for AI SoCs
• Interdisciplinary communication with algorithm experts, system developers and embedded experts from Aptiv and external suppliers

Your background
• Master or Ph.D. in science, technology, physics, engineering and mathematics or a related field
• Expert with proven background in embedded software development
• Must have strong programming skills in C, C++ including applying compiler and debugging methods
• Strong programming skills with python
• Experience with code optimization approaches, well understanding of memory dependencies
• Familiar with fixed point implementation and quantization
• Familiar with instruction sets and memory architectures, FPGA, DSP and AI processors
• Good analytical skills and a good mathematical background
• General knowledge about perception and machine learning algorithms

Nice to have:
• Experience with Texas Instruments Hardware (TDA4) and Deep Learning Software Library (TIDL)
• Experience in development of deep learning from scientific or professional background
• Experience developing software as part of a team
• Experience in automotive and with ADAS / AD
• Academic background on above experience, authorship on relevant literature
