Senior Developer Advocate – AI Full-time

Role:

As a member of the Developer Relations team at Together AI, you will drive the adoption of generative AI by building example apps for different AI use cases in Python, writing how-to guides to explain AI concepts and use cases, and make technical videos. You’ll break down complex problems into small, auditable LLM-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with our AI APIs, then create apps and content out of the solutions.

In collaboration with the Product, Engineering, and Sales teams, you’ll help educate Together Inference and Finetuning customers and help them incorporate our AI solutions into their products with your LLM expertise by architecting AI apps and pipelines and creating how-to content on building production-ready AI applications. You will play a critical role in educating our community of developers and making them successful in using our APIs.
Responsibilities:

• Architect and code AI apps and pipelines for different use cases such as RAG, data extraction, fine-tuning, evals, and summarization using LLMs and our AI APIs
• Create impactful technical content such as code demos, blogs, and videos that explain how to use our gen AI platform and APIs to developers (inference, embeddings, and fine-tuning)
• Break down complex problems into small, auditable LLM-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with our AI APIs
• Help improve the overall Developer Experience of the platform by acting as customer 0 internally, testing new APIs/models, and giving feedback to the engineering team
• Drive interest and awareness among engineers about Together AI capabilities, both in online communities and occasionally in-person at hackathons and conferences if available for that

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in an AI, data science, or engineering role
• 2+ years of deep technical experience in applied AI, ML, and/or LLMs
• Expertise in writing Python code in a production setting
• Excellent writer who enjoys helping developers learn new concepts
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear terms to a wide range of developers

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance and other competitive benefits. The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $180k – $220k+ equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role. Individual compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
