Work you’ll do:

Overview:

We’re seeking a talented Cloud Program Manager to join our dynamic team and spearhead the development and execution of cutting-edge AI and data initiatives on GCP. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing together technical expertise, business needs, and strategic vision to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of complex AI and data projects on GCP, from planning and resourcing to execution and launch.
• Partner with stakeholders across various teams (engineering, data science, product) to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility, business objectives, and budgetary constraints.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively, optimizing for cost and efficiency.
• Oversee data pipeline development using tools like Kafka and ensure seamless integration with AI services like Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI.
• Leverage your expertise in Kubernetes to ensure containerized applications for AI and data services run smoothly on GCP.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with technical teams to monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in AI technologies and GCP services, continuously evaluating their potential for project enhancement.
• Document project processes and procedures for clear communication and future reference.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud program management or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex cloud-based projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, including experience with tools like Kafka and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience working with various AI technologies and a grasp of their capabilities (e.g., Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing).
• Knowledge of Vertex AI and Vertex Gen AI a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Proven ability to manage project deadlines and budgets effectively.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest advancements in cloud and AI technologies.
