POSITION TITLE: Senior AI Research Engineer

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Develop highly scalable machine learning models, including Large Language Models, and oversee their deployment into production. Conduct advanced research in deep learning, machine learning, and natural language processing to address business challenges. Evaluate AI model performance rigorously, ensuring alignment with accuracy and speed criteria. Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into robust machine learning architectures. Take ownership of all phases of search quality, from design through deployment and continuous improvement. Provide strategic insights to management and contribute to the technical roadmap for AI R&D.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as an AI Research Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role; or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field plus 3 years of experience. Proficiency in: Deep learning and natural language processing research; Python programming; Deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow; Libraries such as Spacy and HuggingFace; and Domains like classification, search, recommendation, or summarization. Experience with: Large language models; Integrating AI models into products; and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management.

Salary: $210,000 to $232,000 per year
