Senior Machine Learning Researcher Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Researcher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will focus on developing and implementing state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to the oil and gas industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy LLM-based solutions that address industry-specific challenges, optimize performance, and ensure data privacy and security compliance.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement state-of-the-art LLMs tailored to the oil and gas industry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and solve business problems using LLM solutions
• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-based applications in various oil and gas domains, such as exploration and production
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and perform feature engineering to enhance LLM performance
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs or develop custom models for specific industry challenges
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in LLM research and integrate them into existing models
• Provide mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers on LLM development
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards during the LLM development lifecycle

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Strong knowledge of natural language processing, text generation, and information extraction
• Experience with Pytorch, training on On-prem/Azure, and interactive training environments
• Proficiency in numpy and other relevant data analysis tools
• Demonstrated ability in feature engineering and optimizing machine learning models
• Familiarity with data privacy and security practices in model development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Nice to have

• Qualification in Geology, Physics
• Prior experience in the oil and gas industry
• Published research in relevant machine learning fields
