About Organization

The mission of the Quality Assurance Platform Division is to deliver products and services with the highest standards of quality and reliability to Rakuten Mobile’s commercial network. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, the division contributes to the quality improvement and stable operation of Rakuten Mobile’s commercial network through continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities include designing and suggesting suitable methods of automation for each use case proposal, providing hands-on troubleshooting support, and engaging in technical conversations with respective stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the solutions.

Job Duties

• Lead Network Automation Requirements: Oversee the development and implementation of network automation requirements.
• Develop Automation: Utilize Robot Framework, Python, Web and UI automation, and Jenkins Pipeline to create automation solutions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with network architects and domain experts to ensure alignment and integration of automation solutions.
• Document Solutions: Create detailed documentation for automation design solutions.
• Stay Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in network automation.
• Evaluate and Improve: Continuously assess and enhance existing automation solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Skill Development: Enable and foster skills in new tools, technologies, and methodologies in network automation.
• Implement Enhancements: Introduce improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of network operations.
• Project Leadership: Lead or participate in network automation projects from inception to completion.
• Manage Projects: Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Align with Business Goals: Ensure that automation projects align with business goals and objectives.
• Tool and Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate and select network automation tools and vendors.
• License and Maintenance: Ensure that tools and solutions are properly licensed and maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

• Understanding of end-to-end telecom networks, interfaces, and protocols
• Telco domain expertise and knowledge in Cloud, IP Networks, RAN, Core, OSS, BSS, etc.
• Ability to understand and define clear business requirements for automation delivery
• Proficiency in Robot Framework automation
• Experience handling Android/iOS, app & network automation, web and UI automation
• Experience working with automation tools and applications like Appium, UI Automator, Kobiton, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Bi-Dashboard
• Experience in building and implementing automation environments
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Groovy script
• Experience with QA test tools such as Landslide, JMeter, SOAP UI, Postman, RADCOM, etc.
• Understanding of software development methods (DevOps, CICD, and SDLC)
