Machine Learning Tech Lead Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and hands on Tech Leader for our AI and Machine Learning Team. This pivotal role involves the development of our AI/ML framework and platform, develop Machine learning models and support our MLOps initiatives, serving as the Subject matter expert for the area. This position also requires leadership skills to be ahead of project execution and to mentor and grow other team members and help them evolve on the AI/ML subject. As an important part of the AI Center of Excellence, this function also will help to promote the awareness, integration and utilization of AI across the organization, and spearheading innovative AI solutions into Betsson’s suite of products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Design and develop the frameworks and guardrails for the AI/ML Solutions and products
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategy development and ensure competitiveness
• Direct the exploration and implementation of new AI technologies and methodologies, including Generative AI and MLOps
• Lead the Design and development of Betsson’s AI platforms and solutions.

Team Building and Leadership:

• Establish and scale a high-performing AI team
• Provide technical leadership, setting clear deliverables and supporting team to achieve the results
• Responsible for review and approval of dev eloped solutions
• Serve as the lead point of contact across multiple teams, ensuring cohesive progress on AI projects

Solution Development and Implementation:

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain a framework and a platform to leverage and standardize the utilization of AI and Machine learning across the company
• Design and develop advanced machine learning models and responsible AI solutions to support real-time and very low latency applications
• Continuously monitor and optimize AI models and algorithms to ensure they deliver accurate, reliable results.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s in computer science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Master’s or Ph.D. in AI would be considered a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in AI Field, have developed AI solutions and products, with significant experience in developing cutting edge platforms using Cloud (preferably AWS) and LLMs to enable seamless evolution and standardized utilization of the AI and Machine Learning by organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Data/AI/ML projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience on creating RAG systems and to build applications using flow and agents based on LLMs.
• Proficiency in AI technologies, event driven and real time data analytics environments, development and utilization of machine learning algorithms, MLOps, online feature stores for real time low latency applications, Generative AI Cloud Frameworks and Prompt/Flow/Agent Engineering
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the AI and ML space to proactively implement improvements, suggest innovative ways and ensuring Betsson remains at the forefront of innovation in this dynamic field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams and translating complex AI concepts into clear business strategies to be communicated to different stakeholders at different levels of seniority and skills.
