Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Education beyond Bachelors+ [ masters/Phd ]
• Publications/patents in Deep learning background and/or in mathematics/statistics/image processing

Phd from good college but less experience is also fine if they have solid math/research background.

Position: Sr.Staff and possibly principle, if below requirement are met

Job Description:-

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex classification challenges using Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques in the biometrics domain
• Drive innovative ideas for modelling techniques and performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with the teams in different sites , Qualcomm’s ML experts in Israel, china and other sites

Qualifications:

• Education: Masters. or Ph.D. degree in EE, computer science, or mathematics
• 8-10+ Years of Hands-on experience on

• Deep Learning , Machine Learning classifiers including image related processing and classifications.
• Should have created models from scratch and involved in the end-to-end pipeline.

• Programming Languages: Python)Mastery)

Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role:

• Hands on experience with computer vision
• Strong theoretical track record in mathematics/statistics with inclination of ML/DL systems design
• Full mastery in Python
• Good communication skills to allow effective cooperation with a global development team.
• Publications and / or patents

Preferred skills/experience for role:

• Ph.D is an advantage.
• Experience with one or more of the following fields will be an advantage: signal processing, image processing.

What/Whom we don’t need:

• LLM experts
• Data science background
• People not having modelling experience.
