Internship – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Finance) Full-time

The student, as part of the Finance Development (FD) team in Finance Controlling department and under the guidance of FD section head, will get to involve in project activities, in particularly on the digitalization (AI/ML) projects. In addition, he/she will get the chance to be involved and exposed to the complex semiconductor finance & controlling processes, and a great opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

In your new role you will:

• Develop and implement Machine Learning projects centered on Finance Cost Forecasting, leverage on Time-Series Statistical and Machine Learning Models to drive accurate predictions
• Explore and experiment with various AI/ML and digitalization use cases across multiple digital platforms
• Be involved in the development lifecycle of AI/ML model solutions and visualizations, encompassing model evaluation, optimization, and refinement to ensure high-performance outcomes
• Conduct research on AI models and algorithms on request, to identify the most effective solutions for complex business problems
• Collaborate closely with IT and Data Science teams

Internship learning outcomes:

• Gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience in digitalization, data science solutions, business analytics, and automation initiatives/projects within the Finance department, allowing for the application of academic knowledge to real-life situations
• Gain insight into various semiconductor controlling processes and understand their importance
• Collaborate and communicate with Finance Domain Experts, Technical Experts, and like-minded team members who are enthusiastic about digital transformation, providing valuable exposure to diverse perspectives
• Enhance presentation skills through the opportunity to present project works to various stakeholders, gaining valuable experience.

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with sound knowledge on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics
• Meticulous & inquisitive in nature
• High level of professional integrity and maturity
• Self-motivated and a team player with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in communication, AI algorithm and Analytic Model research
• Resourceful in finding solution or knowledge on new tools
• Data Science skills:
  • Knowledge on data science, business analytics techniques, tool and context
  • Knowledge on data analysis and AI/ML model and algorithm
  • Knowledge on Python coding
