Your role

We’re looking for someone like that to:
• research and explore the potential applications of AI and GenAI within our Data & Reporting crew, identifying opportunities to enhance our processes and deliver valuable insights
• develop AI and GenAI-based applications and tools to support our engineers, streamlining their workflows and empowering them to work more efficiently
• be an advocate for AI and GenAI topics within our organization, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with colleagues and stakeholders
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and GenAI solutions into our existing data platforms and reporting systems
• continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and GenAI, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to our team

Our 12-month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

Your team

At UBS, we are committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. As an AI / Gen AI Intern in our Data & Reporting crew, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of AI and GenAI, contributing to the transformation of our organization.

You will be part of the Data & Reporting crew within the Analytics and Sales Platform stream. Our crew is dedicated to ensuring robust and reliable data solutions while preparing for the next technological steps, such as cloud computing and streaming. You will work alongside a talented and supportive team of experts who are passionate about leveraging data and AI to drive business growth and enhance client experiences.

Your expertise

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field

In particular, you have:
• a strong interest and enthusiasm for AI and GenAI, with a desire to explore their potential applications in a business context
• experience with AI and GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, OpenAI, Llama, Claude, Mistral, Gemini, MS Copilot, or similar AI models and tools
• proficiency in programming languages such as Python, UI development frameworks and SQL
• basic familiarity with data engineering concepts and techniques
• excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• fluent in English, German is a plus
