As the Head of AI Product at our client, you’ll be responsible for driving the product roadmap for AI solutions across various applications. You’ll work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to define, build, and launch AI products that deliver impact, optimize processes, and open new revenue streams. Your work will be integral to translating AI research into products that solve complex problems for customers and fuel business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set the Vision and Roadmap for AI Products:
• Develop and communicate a strategic product vision for AI solutions that aligns with organizational goals. You’ll prioritize product ideas, identify market opportunities, and establish a roadmap that positions AI products to succeed.
2. Lead Cross-Functional Product Development:
• Oversee product development cycles from ideation through to deployment, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and designers. You’ll ensure alignment between technical feasibility and user needs, balancing innovation with practical, user-centered design.
3. Drive Product-Market Fit and Customer-Centricity:
• Conduct market research, user testing, and competitive analysis to ensure AI products meet real user needs and drive customer satisfaction. You’ll prioritize features and refinements that enhance user experience and establish a competitive edge.
4. Define KPIs and Measure Product Success:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI products, such as user engagement, retention, and return on investment. You’ll measure and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes and maximize impact.
5. Promote Responsible and Ethical AI Use:
• Integrate ethical AI practices into product development, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability. You’ll promote responsible AI usage to build trust and align products with user and societal values.
6. Collaborate with Business Leaders on Revenue and Go-to-Market Strategies:
• Work with marketing, sales, and business development teams to develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring AI products reach target users effectively. You’ll support revenue goals by aligning product positioning with market needs and sales strategies.
7. Stay Informed on AI and Market Trends:
• Keep up with the latest advancements in AI and market trends, ensuring that AI products stay competitive and innovative. You’ll continuously explore new opportunities for applying AI in ways that bring unique value to users and the company.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• AI Product Management Expertise: Extensive experience in product management for AI-powered solutions, including defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and managing development cycles. You know how to turn AI capabilities into products that solve real problems.
• Strategic Vision and Market Insight: Ability to set a strategic vision for AI products that aligns with business goals. You understand market trends, user needs, and competitive positioning, and you know how to leverage them to create impactful products.
• Customer-Centric and User Experience Focused: Experience conducting market research, user testing, and customer feedback analysis. You know how to prioritize features that enhance user experience and ensure products meet genuine customer needs.
• Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to work with engineering, data science, and design teams to drive cohesive product development. You’re skilled at balancing technical constraints with user needs and business goals.
• Ethics and Responsible AI Practices: Commitment to responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and ethical considerations. You promote trust in AI products and ensure alignment with societal values and ethical standards.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a strong background in AI product management may be considered.
• Certifications in product management, AI ethics, or data science are advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful AI-powered or data-driven products.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing product teams and setting strategic direction in a technology-focused environment.
• Experience bringing AI products to market, scaling them, and optimizing for growth and retention is highly desirable.
