In our Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) team, we’re ensuring responsible development and deployment of the next generation of cutting-edge generative AI models like GPT-4. If you join our Responsible AI team, you will join an organization committed to partnering with stakeholders across policy, research, and engineering to help every product team in Microsoft ship these evolving technologies responsibly.
On the Responsible AI team, we work to ensure that each new product or technology we build is developed and used responsibly . As a Group Technical Program Manager, AI Regulation and Compliance, you will drive strategy and implementation o f t echnologies, products, engineering systems and programs across Microsoft to support AI compliance and regulation .
This role requires a deep understanding of generative AI use cases and responsible AI, a keen sense of product to support responsible AI commitments while keeping product innovation in mind, and strong technical background to understand responsible AI measurement and mitigation techniques . Experience working with legal and policy and running large scale programs will also be essential for this role.

Technical Program Management M6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 – $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 – $314,400 per year.
