Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cloud Apps Gen AI Lead to join our Digital Workplace Services (DWS) team. This role will be responsible for leading the Generative AI strategy for Sandoz within the Technology Infrastructure and Operations team. The successful candidate will drive the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance our digital workplace services, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the Generative AI strategy for Sandoz, focusing on cloud applications and digital workplace services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, customer service, gdpp, sqms and many other, to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and algorithms to address specific business needs and challenges.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and compliance of AI solutions, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and cloud technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on Sandoz’s digital workplace services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions, and implement enhancements based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in AI and cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading AI and cloud application projects, preferably within a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, natural language processing, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices for AI and cloud security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Certification in AI/ML or cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate).
