Role: Video Editor

Work Setup: Full-Time Remote

Hours per week: 40 hours per week (Full-time position)

Expected Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (EST)

Time zone needed: EST

Holiday Adherence (UAE/UK/US/PH): US Holidays

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. This role focuses on creating engaging, high-quality video content to showcase the platform’s capabilities and value. If you have experience in video editing, social media content creation, and storytelling, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing and Production

• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality content suitable for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.
• Focus on short-form videos (maximum 5 minutes), including tutorials, product demos, and promotional videos.
• Develop videos highlighting individual functionalities of the platform.
• Enhance content with graphics, animations, voiceovers, and branding elements.

Social Media Content Creation

• Create engaging social media posts to drive awareness and engagement.
• Tailor video content for specific platforms with an emphasis on YouTube and LinkedIn.

Creative Storytelling

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling narratives for video projects.
• Align content with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.

Content Optimization and Analytics

• Optimize videos for each platform’s resolution, aspect ratio, and file size.
• Use performance analytics to refine strategies and improve engagement.

Project and Asset Management

• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Organize and maintain a library of video assets and templates for easy access.

Other Responsibilities

• Copywriting to support video projects, social media content, and campaigns.
• Demonstrate comfort explaining and showcasing platform functionalities in video tutorials.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form videos, social media content, and tutorials.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or CapCut.
• Proven experience creating content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.
• Strong storytelling and creative skills to produce visually compelling and engaging videos.
• Copywriting skills with a focus on the tech industry, creating concise, impactful messaging for technical and AI-focused audiences.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animations (After Effects preferred).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Prior experience with tech, SaaS, or AI-focused companies is a plus.
