Job Title: Gen AI project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with 9 to 13 years of experience to lead and oversee projects involving Google Cloud Big Data Google Cloud Services Azure Open AI Azure GCP Generative AI Python and PySpark. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to manage sophisticated projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Experience in the Oil and Gas domain is a plus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architectures using Python Generative AI Azure and GCP
• Oversee the development and deployment of big data solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members ensuring best practices are followed
• Communicate optimally with stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress and challenges

Position Qualifications:

• Possess strong expertise in Python and Generative AI with a proven track record of successful projects
• Show strength in Azure and GCP with hands-on experience in deploying and handling cloud-based solutions
• Have extensive knowledge of PySpark and its application in big data processing
• Show experience with Google Cloud – Big Data and Google Cloud – Services leveraging these technologies to build robust solutions
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Display strong communication and teamwork skills working effectively with multi-functional teams
• Full software development lifecycle experience
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Strong Python programming expertise
• C# nice to have
• Confirmed practical expertise in Azure specifically with respect to
• Authoring deploying debugging and trouble-shooting function apps
• Function app scaling (horizontally and vertically)
• Application Insights
• Log Analytics Workspaces
• API Management Service
• Azure Service Bus
• Collecting and recording usage and other info from APIs proxies by API Management Service
• API development experience nice to have
• General understanding of Generative AI models concepts capabilities and usage patterns
• Experience with Langchain or other similar abstraction/orchestration library is a benefit
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• Azure Open AI models – public API
• Google Gemini model variants – public API

Certifications Required

PMP Google Cloud Certified Azure certifications Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certified Pyspark developer
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
