Expert Data Scientist – Machine Learning

Responsibilities:

• Leading research and development of new technologies related to data mining and big data
• Design and implementation of solid and robust solutions for data mining, analysis and management of big data
• Defining metrics for quantification of performance of next generation vehicle software systems
• Provision of estimates and insights regarding required and missing data and outlier analysis aiming at a creation of state of the art machine learning based solutions
• Formal characterization and analysis of big data sets
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
• Presenting results in a clear and understandable manner
• Research and development of new technologies related to big data
• Controlling the performance of innovations through trials
• Writing technical and scientific documentation
• Participation in project meetings
• Continuous developing of professional qualifications
• Co-operation with remote Advanced Engineering teams
• Accomplishing tasks in accordance to AS&UX and TCK quality standards and schedules

Major Requirements:

• M.Sc. degree in computer science or related
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language, such as C++, Python, R (and their related data processing, Machine Learning, and visualization libraries)
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Kafka and Spark
• Ability to combine research and development skills
• Experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Practical experience in data science, data mining, statistics, and analysis of large data sets
• Experience using data modeling tools to visualize data
• Oral and written communication skills
