Director, Operations IT – Data, Analytics & AI, Digital Transformation Full-time

Join our Data Analytics and AI (DA&AI) team within Operations IT to drive innovation in a leading pharmaceutical company. As a director of data analytics and AI solutions you’ll help develop strategic data and AI products that align with business goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions, such as AI based predictive maintenance, Smart factory, factory flow visualisation and GenAI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic consultancy for Data, Analytics and AI products to business and IT stakeholders aligned to Manufacturing, Digital transformation and Sustainability portfolios.
• Lead the development of technical products aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Data and AI solutions.
• Break down feature epics into technical tasks and manage dependencies.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and sustainable product delivery.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Conduct research to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Optimize resource allocation through data-driven decisions.
• Maintain high standards for in-house products and tools.

Essential Skills:

• Exposure of Pharma manufacturing domain or sustainability
• Experience of delivering Digital products using Data, Analytics and AI technologies.
• Expertise in Data Analytics and AI technologies.
• Experience leading complex data and AI projects.
• Proficiency in the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.

Desired:

• Master’s, M.B.A., or PhD in a relevant field
• Product/Project Management experience in Data, Analytics & AI solutions
• Previous involvement in a large multinational company, Pharmaceutical or similar environment
