The Siemens Energy’s AI COE is responsible for developing our internal AI capabilities while providing the necessary standards, best practices, security and governance for AI, and prescribing the tools, technology and engagement approach to build a thriving Siemens Energy AI community. Our AI COE is part of the Data and AI organization, which is responsible for developing strategic and key foundational capabilities to support the acceleration of scalable data & AI solutions across the company.

As the Strategy & Portfolio Manager for AI, you get to plan and manage the execution of our AI initiatives and activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive AI services roadmap
• Build trust and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure alignment and effective delivery of the AI COE’s initiatives and activities
• Lead AI discovery and awareness sessions with our stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute AI projects, fostering an agile and collaborative environment
• Effective project and portfolio management, this includes conducting the governance reporting and due diligence, and providing the necessary visibility and transparency of delivery progress and accomplishments
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, to report on project status and outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in AI services and project management practices.

What You Bring / skills, capabilities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and portfolio management, with at least 2-3 years’ experience within a digital or AI organization
• Proven experience in business engagement and managing technology projects, preferably in AI or related fields.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in a business context.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
