As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Primary Function:

• Image quality engineer supporting commercialization of state-of-the-art solutions, tuning and image quality evaluation
• Develop and implement innovative algorithms for AI camera, temporal filter algorithm in video
• As a member of Qualcomm camera system team, you will have the opportunity to develop solutions and influence millions of end users, improving their camera experience and image quality

Experience & Knowledge:

• Expertise in Image processing / video processing / computer vision with at least 6 years of experience.
• Good knowledge and experience in programming: Proficiency in C/C++ – required, Matlab and python – advantage
• Knowhow and experience in system / camera flows – advantage
• Experience in camera/image related technology tuning and commercialization – advantage
• Excellent verbal communication in English

Formal Education:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• MSc or PhD in the field of image processing / computer vision – advantage

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
