Machine Learning Engineer 3 Full-time

Job Description

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems.

This role will be part of Procore’s growing Applied Science and ML team (part of our Data, Technology, and Security organization). In this role your skills will be put to work towards our data team’s vision of enabling a data-driven Procore to fuel efficient and scalable growth. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on high impact, and highly visible, AI,ML and Deep Learning models leveraging vast amounts of data with the latest techniques.

This position has the opportunity to be located in India either at our Bangalore offices.

What you’ll do:

• Work cross functionally with a diverse slate of stakeholders to understand the business and technical requirements to define impactful ML solutions
• Apply cutting edge ML, AI, and Deep Learning to stores of unstructured and structured data, using best practices to drive maximum business outcome
• Coach and mentor junior data scientists on the team; lead code reviews, provide feedback on technical designs, and define best practices for technical development and implementation
• Collaborate with software engineers to write application code and deploy models to a production environment using our ML platform
• Be a thought partner and design thinker in the evolution of Data Science at Procore

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of relevant Machine Learning experience (6 years with masters or 3 years with PhD)
• Experience with training and optimizing Deep Learning models
• Applied experience with NLP
• Hands on experience developing and managing ML models
• Real world experience in deploying predictive models at scale to production levering large and unstructured datasets.
• Experienced in Python and SQL
• Experience in LLMs and GenAI is preferred
• Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate complex mathematical and statistical concepts in simple terms
• Experience in SaaS is preferred
