AI/ML Engineer Full-time

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an AI ML Engineer with strong background in designing and deploying Machine Learning models using Python. Ideal candidate will work with clients to understand the issues they face, diagnose problems, design solutions and facilitate solution deployment on Cloud Platform. One will also have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients by connecting various functions of cloud components. Ideally the candidate uses understanding of the problem to arrive at multiple solution alternatives keeping in mind the various stakeholders and assess the pros and cons of all the alternatives to arrive at the optimal solution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience in developing programs/APIs using Python/Pyspark
• At least 4 years of experience in Model development life cycle, software engineering principles, data engineering principles
• At least 2 years of experience in AIML area
• At least 2 years experience in Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) and their AI services
• Atleast 2 years of experience in developing ML, NLP Deep learning models
• Atleast 2 years of experience in developing and implementing algorithms to automate data cleaning, normalization, and enrichment processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in LLM, Generative AI (developing capabilities or Dev/Ops)
  • Participation experience in code reviews, ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
  • Debugging codes when required and troubleshooting any Python-related queries.
  • Experience in working with Multi cloud environment such as, GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • High Impact client communication

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
