Project Role : AI / ML Engineer
Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.

Summary:
The Lead Data Scientist with expertise in Optimization Engine is responsible for developing and optimizing algorithms and models that improve the performance and decision-making capabilities of the system.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
– Responsible for team decisions.
– Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
– Lead the development of optimization algorithms and models.
– Work closely with the technical and business teams to understand requirements.
– Implement and validate optimization models to enhance system performance.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data science team.
– Ensure the scalability and robustness of optimization solutions.
– Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
– Design and develop AI/ML models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
– Implement and deploy AI/ML models into production environments.
– Perform data analysis and preprocessing to ensure data quality and integrity.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and tools.
– Conduct experiments and evaluate the performance of AI/ML models.
– Optimize and fine-tune AI/ML models for improved accuracy and efficiency.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
– Document and communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:
– Expertise in optimization techniques and algorithms.
– Proficiency with data science tools and programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Experience in deploying and validating optimization models.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Experience with cloud AI services and tools.
– Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and techniques.
– Hands-on experience with deep learning, neural networks, and image processing.
– Experience with chatbot development and natural language processing.
– Solid knowledge of data analysis and preprocessing techniques.
