AI/ML & Data Platform Engineer Full-time

Job Description

As an AI/ML & Data Platform Engineer, you will be a key player in developing innovative cloud-based solutions that encompass both front-end and back-end technologies for end-to-end AI/ML & data platforms. Your expertise will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, playing a crucial role in defining how the application looks and works. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of protocols, programming languages, and databases, contributing to versatile and robust software development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of modern cloud-based platforms for data, AI/ML, and communication network simulations.
• Work with state of the art open-source software such as K8s, Flyte, and adopt it to the business needs of cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure best and seamless user experience for cloud applications based on paradigms like scalability, reachability and zero downtime.
• Implement features for improving end-to-end toolchains in close collaboration with data scientists and researchers for a diverse set of use cases such as Machine Learning, large scale system simulations, LLM fine tuning.
• Backend Development: Utilize your proficiency in Go, Java and Python for backend development, creating powerful, scalable, and efficient server-side applications.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and in-memory databases, implementing robust data storage solutions.

Qualifications

You have:

• A background with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field with 5-8 years of total experience and having 1-2 years of work experience in AI-ML
• A solid foundation in software development and engineering concepts with good experience in dockerizing application and moving them to the cloud.
• Ability to run fast Proof-of-Concepts with different OS technologies and arrive at fast decisions with regards to fail or pass.
• Good understanding of data storage methodologies for machine learning, LLM data training and application software data stores.
• Proficiency in backend development, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code in Go, Java, or Python.
• A good grasp of REST/HTTP/gRPC protocols, understanding their nuances and applications in modern web development.
• Preferably, proficiency in UI development using JavaScript/TypeScript, coupled with a keen eye for aesthetic and functional design.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with various types of databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases.
