Summary & Role Information

Generative AI holds immense potential to change and improve the way and efficiency our customers do their business. Strong research collaborations with academic and commercial partners are instrumental in achieving that goal.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate AI Experience Researcher to join the Incubation Innovation team. We are focused on shaping and delivering the future of generative AI capabilities for SAP RISE customers. As part of our team, your innovative thinking, collaborative attitude, and eagerness to take on challenges will contribute directly to the experience and adoption of our services.

Join our international, multi-disciplinary team, where you’ll work closely with internal stakeholder, customers and both commercial and academic partners. What you will do:

• Lead and guide AI-driven research projects using various approaches,methodologies, and methods with focus on diverse areas.
• You should be proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Mural, etc. and use them to
• Support customers, partners, and colleagues by making research tangible and usable for business applications.
• Carry out large, complex projects and activities with aim to deliver high quality results and/or technical solutions.
• Apply and combine advanced research methods and: workshop facilitation, prioritization exercises, scenario planning, diary studies, surveys, interviews, etc. but also creating designs drafts out of this results
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external customers and partners, contributing actively to build common ground for cooperation.
• Build and maintain partnerships with external research institutions, such as universities, research institutes, think tanks, etc.
• In an ideal scenario you have a portfolio that displays a spectrum of creative design solutions and have an excellent understanding of fundamental design principles and information architecture.
• You have work experience in interaction (and visual) design, product definition and design in general.

What you’ll bring:

• University degree in social sciences, user research, or related fields, such as UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or Foresight Studies.
• Mid-level/experienced – 6-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in leading and executing research projects with high business impact.
• Expertise applying diverse research approaches, methodologies, and methods to conduct research studies with high quality, using different tools.
• Experience translating findings into actionable recommendations for team members and other teams.
• Strong communication skills to disseminate research findings, strategies and initiatives to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Growth mindset and opens to learn new approaches, methods, and relevant tools.
• Innovation mindset to develop research projects with focus on future trends and opportunities for business applications.
• Passion and curiosity for new technologies.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
