Responsibilities
1.Policy Development & Review:
Develop, review, and refine policies for responsible AI development and ethical deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational values and industry standards.
2.Ethical Framework Building:
Build and maintain an ethical framework and policies for the responsible design, development, and deployment of AI technologies.
3.Incident Resolution:
Address and resolve ethical incidents, offering the most appropriate solutions based on regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards.
4.Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to advocate for responsible AI practices and ensure these practices are embedded in regulatory frameworks.
5.Regulatory Awareness:
Stay updated on national and international AI regulations, ethical standards, and compliance issues to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of AI governance.
6.Expert Guidance on AI Ethics:
Provide expertise in AI ethics, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI systems.
7.Collaboration with Development Teams:
Work with AI product and development teams to integrate ethical considerations into every stage of the AI lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
8.External Representation:
Serve as the point of contact for external stakeholders, including policymakers, advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies, on matters related to AI ethics and governance.
9.Public Policy Engagement:
Participate in public policy debates, conferences, and workshops, contributing to discussions on responsible AI governance and regulatory issues.
10.Partnerships & Research:
Build partnerships with universities, research institutions, and thought leaders to promote and disseminate best practices in AI ethics.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of AI ethics, including fairness, transparency, explainability, and accountability in AI systems.
• Expertise in global AI regulations
• Familiarity with ethical AI frameworks, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., IEEE, ISO/IEC AI standards).
• Ability to develop and enforce governance policies around AI, ensuring they align with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Ability to assess ethical risks in AI systems, including bias and fairness issues.
• Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI, focusing on ethical implications.
• Ability to advocate for ethical AI practices within and outside the organization
