Business Development Manager, AI Partnerships Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our AI Partnerships Team at Meta. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving global partnerships to support our cutting-edge AI products. At Meta, we have been pioneering advanced approaches to AI for over a decade. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving partnerships from term sheet negotiations through product launches, managing relationships, and growing, measuring, and optimizing partnership success. We are looking for a leader who will be passionate about AI and enjoy working with product teams and multiple partners. It is essential that you are comfortable navigating cross-functional teams to achieve your goals.

Business Development Manager, AI Partnerships Responsibilities

• Defining, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships for Meta’s AI products
• Managing relationships with partners, identifying new opportunities, and growing partnership success
• Working closely with product and engineering teams to define priorities and identify key opportunities
• Managing external and internal cross-functional teams when integrating products or technologies with external partners
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI industry
• Working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry trends
• Providing regular reports and updates on partnership activity and performance

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. JD or MBA
• 5+ years of work experience including in business development, strategy or related fields
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements
• Experience in working closely with product and engineering teams
• Experience in developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with stakeholders
• Experience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organization
• Base level knowledge of the AI ecosystem including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data licensing deals
• Experience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights
• Experience in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous start-up environment
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

$129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
