Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an AI Engineer with a robust background in software development, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. If you thrive on solving problems with cutting-edge technology and disrupting outdated processes, this role is an ideal fit. As part of a diverse team including designers, developers, operations managers, and attorneys, you’ll collaborate to build user-friendly products and streamline complex processes.

As an AI Engineer, you will work closely with engineering and subject matter experts to innovate and leverage AI for workflow optimization or replacement. This role offers full remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Machine Learning and AI: Drive innovation in AI technologies, collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop models/services for data ingestion, information extraction, and insights generation.
• Hands-On Coding: Utilize modern languages like Python, Javascript, Go, and Rust for software engineering tasks.
• Data Handling: Identify, extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring its cleanliness and normalization.
• Database Management: Design schemas, optimize queries, and manage database performance.
• Project Management: Prioritize tasks, manage resources, and effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Javascript.
• Experience with backend services and APIs integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Deep understanding of machine learning and AI technologies, including model design, training, and implementation.
• Experience with API design and implementation for data access.
• Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices.

The compensation for this role ranges from $115,000 to $200,000, including performance-based bonuses and equity. Compensation is based on various factors including market location and job-related expertise.
