AI-Driven Product Innovator (f/m/d)

In the Chief Technology Office’s Digital Portfolio team, we are bringing together our product and portfolio managers, customers, and sales specialists with one goal only: Improve and transform our digital products and services to enable our customer to master the challenges ahead. Support utilities and grid operators to upgrade their grids for e-cars and renewable energy in the fastest and most efficient way. Build manufacturing processes that improve use of renewable energy. Make buildings and neighborhoods smarter and more sustainable.

We are looking for an impact maker that can translate recent advances in machine learning and analytics into innovation initiatives for our digital products. You will work closely with a diverse group of product managers to identify common AI-driven capabilities, build initial prototypes jointly with our industry-leading customers, and establish those new capabilities as part of the product roadmaps.

What your typical week will look like

• Identify potential AI use cases throughout Smart Infrastructure’s portfolio in close interaction with sales, customers, and product management.
• Based on your knowledge and research of recent AI-developments you identify capabilities that would be relevant for the identified use cases.
• Initiate and lead co-innovation projects to develop the use cases into minimum viable products together with industry-leading customers, product managers and R&D teams.
• Align with product managers on roadmaps of products implementing the developed use cases and minimum viable products.
• Prepare and conduct highly interactive customer workshops and domain expert events, both virtually and onsite.

• You have completed a Masters degree in an engineering or computer science or other related fields with several years relevant work experience.
• You show a proven track record of successfully spearheading AI-driven portfolio innovation initiatives in close collaboration with product management.
• You have a customer-centric mindset and show experience in interacting with customers.
• You show a passion for innovations, upcoming new AI-powered technologies, and the technology fields of Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
• You enjoy immersing yourself in intricate technical matters, meticulously preparing them for different target audiences, and presenting them in an understandable manner.
• You are looking forward to working in an interdisciplinary team, interacting closely with customers, and sharing your expertise with non-tech people. You feel comfortable in international and virtual teams.
• Proficiency in English and conversational ability in German. Additional languages are a plus.
