Xenon7 is looking to hire a Senior Fellow – a subject-matter expert in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry who will use in-depth knowledge of the industry and AI applications within the industry to design and craft masterpiece solutions for our clients and navigate each project to the finish line with absolute excellence and professionalism. Senior Fellows have a broad view of the IT and AI landscape, which combined with a visionary mindset creates extraordinary solutions of high value and impact which inspires clients to trust Xenon7 with their most challenging problems.

A Senior Fellow in the field of Healthcare and Life Sciences possesses knowledge and experience in areas such as:

• Medical Imaging: leveraging computer vision techniques to analyze medical images, detect abnormalities, and assist with diagnosis
• Genomics and Bioinformatics: applying AI algorithms to analyze vast amounts of genomic data, identify disease markers, and assist in drug discovery
• Clinical Decision Support: developing AI models to assist healthcare professionals with treatment planning, risk assessment, and predicting patient outcomes
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): utilizing AI to parse, structure, and derive insights from unstructured medical text data
• Healthcare Operations: using AI and machine learning to optimize hospital workflows, resource allocation, and patient scheduling
• Medical Robotics: designing and developing intelligent robots to assist in surgical procedures and perform other medical tasks
• Drug Discovery: applying AI algorithms to identify promising drug candidates, predict drug-target interactions, and optimize drug design

Responsibilities:

As AI Maestro, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with business leaders to identify problems that can be resolved using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
• Actively participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate our capabilities and relevant use cases and understand client’s needs and problems
• Participate in the Discovery phase of a project to uncover real needs and possibilities, specify in detail the scope of the project, and use domain expertise to propose architecture for solutions
• Provide accurate time and resource estimates for a project and define the major milestones
• Identify potential risks and challenges on a project and how to overcome them
• Act as a subject matter expert on projects to navigate them across the finish line while ensuring high-quality execution and deliverables
• Propose and participate in the selection of the team for a project
• Communicate and present to the client the progress of projects
• Ensure AI ethics and other SecOps principles are properly implemented on projects
• Contribute to the improvement of Xenon’s assessment and delivery process
• Contribute to developing Xenon’s domain capabilities, content, and competitiveness

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in AI roles or other relevant fields (AI, ML, Data Science)
• 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry or related fields
• High proficiency in one or more Healthcare and Life Sciences AI applications
• Very strong technical skills in technologies relevant to the field, and a deep understanding of underlying concepts and mechanisms (math, algorithms, models, statistics) needed for producing optimal and performant solutions
• Proven experience in scoping, designing, and architecting complex and large-scale solutions, estimating milestones, timeframes, and resources accurately
• Proven experience in leading projects and teams to a successful outcome
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders to make informed decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills to be able to distill complex information and concepts into clear messages that resonate with clients of various technical backgrounds
• Curious, creative, outgoing personality with wide horizons committed to success and inspired by excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence domain (highly preferable)
• Background in Research activities and published papers
• Skills in writing domain-specific content e.g. whitepapers, blogs, etc.
