About The Role

As an innovative startup at the forefront of AI-enabled devices, with a focus on our groundbreaking product, the AI Pin, we are actively searching for a visionary and forward-looking Vice President of AI. This leadership position holds a critical role in defining the trajectory of our products and services, focused on developing unparalleled and transformative experiences within the realm of artificial intelligence.

What You Might Do

• Lead all artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and computer vision (CV) departments, setting strategic direction and defining clear objectives aligned with the company’s vision.
• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within cross functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Co-Founders and other executives to integrate AI strategies across the company.
• Collaborate extensively with the design and engineering teams to develop cutting-edge AI features and experiences for the AI Pin and other products.
• Ensure that product development is aligned with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and CV.
• Drive the ideation and creation of new AI experiences that are both innovative and commercially viable.
• Oversee R&D initiatives in AI, ML and CV, ensuring they contribute to the company’s strategic goals.
• Establish partnerships with academic and research institutions to support them in the advancement of AI technologies.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of AI experts, data scientists, and engineers.
• Cultivate a learning environment that encourages continuous professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, CV, or related fields.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within AI, ML, and CV.
• Strong track record in developing AI-driven products and solutions.
• Deep understanding of current AI, ML, and CV technologies and trends.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.

Salary range: $290,000 – $390,000

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)

• The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
