Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with 4-5 years of experience, specializing in machine learning algorithms and building recommendation systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python development along with expertise in implementing and optimizing machine learning models for real-world applications. In this role, you will work closely with our data science team to develop innovative recommendation algorithms that enhance user experiences across our platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and recommendation algorithms.

Implement machine learning algorithms using Python libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for model training.

Develop and optimize recommendation algorithms for personalized content delivery, product recommendations, and user engagement.

Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, recommendation systems, and related technologies.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization.

Must Have Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

4-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.

Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques.

Experience with building recommendation systems and familiarity with collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid approaches.

Proficiency in Python libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex problems.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.

Knowledge of cloud platforms and services for machine learning deployment (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform).

Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and libraries.

Previous experience in e-commerce, digital media, or similar industries leveraging recommendation systems.
