PATH is currently recruiting for a Technology Specialist – Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services position for its Information Technology (IT) team. The IT Department works with business partners worldwide to solve information technology challenges, improve efficiencies, and meet strategic goals.

As a Technology Specialist – Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services, you will be a technical solution expert working with the Application and Data Services Team on establishing their AI Strategy & prioritizing use cases that drive business value with Azure AI Services (Vision, Speech, Language etc.) & Generative AI (including strategic AI partner solutions). Specifically, you will lead strategic technical engagements that will require you to deliver architectural design sessions, pilots/POCs leveraging Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI Services. You’ll create Generative AI-powered applications that are enhanced by the broader AI portfolio, with the goal of demonstrating the value of a business use case for the organization. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the decision process and increase the adoption of the Azure AI services/Azure Open AI and additionally, you will work within your team as a subject matter expert to help derive value through AI. You will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading discussions with Enterprise Architects, Data Scientists and Developers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth AI expertise to support PATHs internal AI tools, including product and solution briefings, creating demos, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting adoption to Azure AI Services (Cognitive services portfolio, Azure Open AI).
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Azure AI.
• Demonstrate how Azure AI is differentiated, highlighting the power of accelerators by working with customers on POCs, demonstrating features, fine tuning, optimizing model performance, profiling, and benchmarking.
• Shape the organization’s AI strategy by assessing Cognitive Services, Azure Search, and Azure OpenAI capabilities and identifying the highest potential applications to address enterprise business needs. Provide strategic recommendations on optimal AI solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to deeply understand workflows, challenges, and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build AI that respects privacy, complies with regulations, and aligns with responsible AI principles.
• Rigorously test AI solutions and ensure they’re ready for real-world use.
• Engage in conversation with customers and collaborate with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities, understand key technical objections, and resolve technical blockers.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2+ years’ experience developing AI solutions on the Microsoft cloud platform.
• Technical expertise in Azure AI (Machine Learning, Cognitive Services) and implementing techniques like NLP, computer vision, and conversational AI to build real-world solutions.
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles implemented on Azure.
• Strong communication skills to explain Microsoft AI solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaboration skills to identify business challenges that can be solved with Azure AI.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and LLM fine turning.

Preferred:

• Experience and skills with Azure Data services.
• Knowledge of the AI open-source ecosystem.
• Knowledge of large language model (LLM) and Foundational models toolsets
• Experience deploying and managing models with Azure DevOps and Azure Machine Learning.
