Job Description

The primary role of a Consultant or Sr. Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific sub- work stream (or sub-modules) within a broader project. Sr. Consultants and Consultants on engagements report into the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end to end delivery of the sub-work stream allocated to them.

The responsibilities of DEVOPS Sr. Consultant or Consultant should include:

Experience with cloud services providers (AWS or MS Azure)

Experience with versioning systems (Gitlab, Bitbucket) & Build Tools ( Maven, ANT Scripts, Gradle, NPM )

Hands-on experience with Pipelines and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines )

Understanding of Containerization concepts ( Docker/Hyper-V/LXC/Podman )

Container Orchestration Tools ( Kubernetes/Openshift/Nomad )

Familiarity with Infrastructure As Code Tools ( Terraform, Helm charts, Ansible )

Implementing web servers for various needs ( Apache2/Nginx/Tomcat )

Scripting Languages (Bash, Powershell and Python ) as well as sysadmin for Linux/Windows machines.

Familiarity with services, as well as Code Coverage tools ( Sonarqube, Checkmarx, Jacoco )

Provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Participate in knowledge sharing activities.

Must have Skills –

Skilled in implementing AWS/Azure cloud services using Terraform and ARM template.

Build and Manage pipeline using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Security & Networking aspects of Azure/AWS Infrastructure.

Hands on exposure in containerization concepts in Docker.

Strong knowledge and hands on experience in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Nomad.

Good to have skillsets :-

Experience in Integration with JIRA, and good understanding of .Net/java/android based application deployments.

Exposure in scripting languages ( Python, Shell, Bash and Groovy ).
