Technical Specialist AI Full-time

You do this by engaging with the different stakeholders, understanding their problem, and come-up with technology driven solutions. Being able to creatively solve problems, but adhering to the architecture and security guidelines is crucial.

The Loyens & Loeff IT department is looking for someone with a broad range of technical knowledge in among others the Microsoft Technology stack, ranging from Microsoft Azure and SharePoint, to Power BI, PowerApps and (Gen-) AI in general. You will be using your technology skills to create, and maintain, different types of technological solutions. After adoption of the solution, maintenance and updates are part of your role as well. The IT department is organised to optimize the agile way of working.

Your responsibilities as a technical specialist AI:

• working in a multidisciplinary IT team and collaborating with the business, you are going to combine standard product groups into solutions by developing: API`s, Connectors, Databases, Applications, Azure Components, programming custom interfaces, etc.;
• understanding how data can be used to implement solutions that can bring efficiency to the legal practice;
• embedding new technologies, such as Azure AI Search, Azure Open AI and more to come in future;
• developing and supporting custom solutions for practice management optimization;
• creating and supporting applications that enables the business to focus on higher value tasks;
• liaising with other IT teams; such as Architecture, Security, and other services managed by IT;
• actively participate in discussions regarding Networking, Security & Architecture within Azure CloudPlatform.

• speak and write fluently English and Dutch;
• interest in new technologies;
• able to translate new tech into practical implementation;
• conceptually strong;
• a good understanding of working DTAP/etc, self-relying but aware of impact and risk;
• an excellent understanding of how data can be used to add value to the business;
• familiar with agile way of working and DevOps;
• eager to learn;
• based in the Netherlands, but willing to incidentally travel to our home market offices in Luxembourg, Belgium, and Switzerland.

You have a strong knowledge of:

• MS Tech Stack used in L&L;
• Microsoft Azure;
• M365;
• SharePoint Online;
• PowerApps;
• Python & C#.
