Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description

We are seeking to fill the position of technical project/program manager in individual capacity (no reports) within KLA services engineering. Successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Responsible for coordinating and managing KLA services engineering projects to support KLA Services business needs which includes products life extension, enhancements, and continuous improvements.
• Align with stakeholders on the needed projects, work with engineering functional managers to scope the projects, drive and report on projects execution.
• Address roadblocks and issues impacting execution, and driving projects to completion.
• Projects cover wide array of areas and subsystems including mechanical, electrical, and optical subassemblies and subsystems.
• Manage project portfolio including project progress, risks, budgets, headcount allocation, and other project attributes.
• Work with marketing and product support organization to prioritize projects.
• Collaborate and/or drive adopting new methods in project and program management including AI/ML. Working knowledge with AI/ML methods and model development are highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters’ degree in Engineering (preference for computer science and data science)
• Good knowledge of project and/or program managements. Has a track record of initiating, managing, and closing projects.
• A plus would be familiarity with project or portfolio management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, Wrike, etc.
• Good organizational/interpersonal/presentation and communication skills
