Supply Chain and AI/Automation Sr/Manager Full-time

The Finance organization at Eli Lilly Taiwan strives to be an essential and trusted business partner, influencing decisions, providing insight, and driving productivity to achieve business results.

• This role is primarily responsible for supply chain management for Taiwan Affiliate. Main responsibility includes maintaining timely product shipment particularly for new launch products by working closely with cross-functional team including Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing and Regional, Global Supply Chain team as well as external parties such as distributor.
• This role is also responsible for leading AI/Automation initiatives in Taiwan Affiliate. Main responsibility includes leading and advancing AI/automation agenda for finance organization (not limited to supply-related automation), simplifying work/process and digitizing paper/old fashioned process.
• The position requires strong business acumen, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills as the successful candidate will be working closely with senior management, global/cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• This role involves supervising team member and is also responsible for coaching and developing subordinate.

Manage and Lead Taiwan Supply Chain

• Coordinate and manage the product shipment with cross-functional team for new launch products
• Ensure a smooth supply and distribution for existing, launched products
• Maintain and manage the demand forecast in system
• Work with distributor to ensure its capacity and a smooth distribution in the market
• Develop and lead Quarterly S&OP meetings for Taiwan affiliate
• Develop supply chain reporting tools to optimize inventory levels and improve forecast accuracy
• Support NAPAC new launch preparation and/or NAPAC S&OP

Advance and Lead Taiwan AI/Automation

• Propose, develop and drive AI/Automation, simplification initiatives for Taiwan affiliate
• Coordinate with cross-functional team including Taiwan Finance, NAPAC Finance, IBU Finance as well as GBS/Procurement, Tech@Lilly and related stakeholders
• Support implementation of AI/Automation initiatives
• Support NAPAC AI/Automation initiatives as needed

Qualification

• Min. 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, information technology and/or Finance
• Presentation/communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and influence across cultures
• Good learning agility and curiosity
• Cross functional experience in Demand Realization, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics
• Analytical skills: ability to analyze, organize, interpret and present large quantities of data.
• Innovative mindset – willingness to challenge the status quo, seek continuous improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidate must be fluent in English

Desirable Skills / license (not required):

• MBA, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Accounting experience and/or certification (CPA, Supply Chain management or Six Sigma)
• Understanding of distribution, shipping and warehousing operations
• Systems Use/Knowledge – computer-based skills particularly in SAP, Power BI, Power Automate etc
