Job Overview:

Do you want an opportunity to see what happens when you combine your neurons’ love for electrons with a neural network? Qualcomm Technologies’ engineering team in Taiwan is looking for a creative engineer to work on next generation products and technologies. This position is under machine learning team in Taiwan PDTE (Product Development and Test Engineering).

The ideal candidate will have opportunities in the following areas:

• Analyze customer requirements, design intuitive and user centered solutions, and create machine learning model prototypes.
• Combine computing backend solutions using data science or machine learning knowledge to deliver vital impact via user integrated system.
• Have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts, frameworks, and libraries
• Knowledge of Large Language Model concepts including prompting, RAG, and model fine tuning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experiences in using AWS cloud computing
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts such as regression, distribution, correlation, outlier detection, etc.
