The work

As a data & AI senior manager specializing in the Financial Services industry (banking, insurance, and pensions), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing data-driven strategies for our clients. In addition to leading strategic initiatives and fostering innovation within the data & AI domain, you will also leverage your sales experience to identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth within the financial services sector. Your focus will extend beyond traditional strategies, encompassing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI and implementation of Responsible AI practices.

People

• Lead and guide teams on AI best practices, analytics, and innovation assignments within the financial services domain, leveraging your expertise to address industry-specific challenges.
• Engage with prospective financial services clients to shape and sell project work, utilizing your sales experience to drive business growth and deliver tailored solutions.
• Act as a mentor for junior team members, providing guidance on their career development within the context of the financial services sector.
• Play a pivotal role in building and growing the data & AI team, actively developing skills that align with the strategic needs of financial services clients.

Processes

• Lead data & AI projects within the financial services industry, collaborating with clients to identify and implement transformative initiatives.
• Build and maintain client relationships within the financial services sector to foster trust and credibility, positioning Accenture as a trusted advisor in data-driven decision-making.
• Develop new client opportunities with financial services account teams.
• Provide thought leadership on strategy development, data science, operating models, and innovation, tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the financial services domain.

Technology and Data

• Serve as a dedicated advocate for data & AI-led transformation within the financial services industry, promoting best practices in Responsible AI, data ethics, Generative AI, and machine learning.
• Utilize your expertise in data & AI technologies to drive tangible outcomes and create real, measurable impact for our financial services clients.

Experience with (Generative) AI and other advanced technologies will be highly advantageous, empowering you to unlock new possibilities and drive meaningful impact in your role as the resources go-to-market lead for the data & AI team.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Master’s degree (WO) in Business Information Management, Business Analytics, Business Administration/Economics, or related field.
• Fluent in Dutch (B2) and English (C1), both spoken and written.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a consulting capacity or project management role, with a focus on data-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of data & AI technologies and their applications within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, with experience shaping and selling projects to financial services clients.

Bonus points to have

• Experience developing and executing data & AI strategies to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Experience implementing data & AI best practices and solutions within the financial services sector for process transformation.
• Experience working with new technologies such as Generative AI for innovation purposes.
• Previous experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record in business development and sales.
