Strategic Research Expert – AI Full-time

Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Strategic Research Expert.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an expert of AI. This role of Strategic Research Expert will be responsible for analyzing the strategic trend of the AI, and will play the key role of “technology diplomat and strategic thinker” of the Institute of Strategy Research. This role will deliver independent consulting reports, and support the company’s major technology strategy and investment in the AI field.

• Gain insights into the technology trends in the global AI field, analyze the technology hotspots of AI head enterprises and research institutes, explore new challenges and opportunities in the AI field, explore new technology directions, and provide strategic thinking and investment suggestions in the AI field.
• Attend academic conferences and industry summits in the AI field in North America, communicate with AI experts in depth, discuss important research directions and technical hotspots, and deliver technical analysis reports and feasibility research suggestions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of major technological breakthroughs, technological investments, and technological directions in the AI field, propose technical propositions, promote the feasibility demonstration of technical solutions, and provide consulting and decision-making suggestions for the Institute of Strategy Research.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the AI field, including but not limited to strategic insight, industry analysis, technical feasibility analysis, and technical vision and proposition analysis.
• Deep understanding of technologies in the AI field, such as generative AI, LLM, world model, AI agent, Transformer architecture, model quantification, and AI safety.
• Have in-depth research and analysis experience in at least one specific generative AI technology domain, and have high-quality deliverables, such as academic papers and research reports.
• Be familiar with the AI industry in North America, have a good understanding of relevant academic organizations, and have a wide range of connections and resources are preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate with HQ on a regular basis, including travel to HQ.
• Strategic thinking and commercial awareness, with the ability to integrate technical issues with business objectives to provide strategic advice for the long-term development of the company.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage complex technical projects and challenges.
