Staff Software Engineer, Generative AI, Data Analytics Full-time

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience with data systems.
• Experience with Python, Notebooks, ML Frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow).

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation software systems at the intersection of data analytics (e.g., Data warehousing, Business Intelligence, Spark, Dataflow, Data Catalog, etc.) and generative AI. You will work with a team of experts to research, explore, and develop innovative solutions that will bring generative AI to the forefront of GCP Data Analytics for customers.
