Staff Software Engineer – Gen AI Safety Full-time

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to help us lead Intuit’s AI security and safety initiative and ensure the safe development and execution of our generative AI technology.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be leading a strong engineering team to develop ideas and products that safeguard Intuit’s generative AI ecosystem. This includes working with LLMs working on Prompt Engineering strategies, developing and shipping real time security detectors.

Additionally, the work is in close collaboration with a team of Security researchers, a data science team, and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts to build software to safeguard our AI ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership and be a role model and mentor to engineers.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the risks and potential dangers associated with the use of AI.
• Advocate for the highest standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the use of AI at Intuit, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
