How will you make an impact?

Aligned to the newly formed MSD Services AI team, you will bring together a range of functions that are needed to work together effectively leverage AI. We will use the technology to help drive excellent customer experiences, increased operational efficiency and enhance our commercial processes. The work is highly dynamic as is the AI space. You will play a critical role in ensuring the adoption of new technologies, by working with cross-functional teams to appropriately plan and implement AI projects on time and within expected margins is crucial for this role.

You will be the key driver for your respective projects connecting daily with engineering and production for progress tracking and issue resolution to deliver results on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Collaborate with internal team members and customers, including expectations around quality and on-time delivery and represents the business at project meetings with the customer or internal stakeholders
• Establishes and maintains standard project documentation to ensure visibility of status against program requirements and customer demands
• Plans, monitors and ensures completion of all activities to ensure deadlines are met for deliverables on the scope of work.
• Resolves project issues and assists to resolve resource constraints and any internal conflict within allowable project timeframes
• Provide status updates to essential team members on project requirements including schedules, time-lines and critical issues
• Ensures customer satisfaction by managing expectations, trouble shooting and providing accurate and timely reports, updates and financial forecasts including preparing any amendments to scope or budget in a timely manner
• Submit all vendor documentation (including engineering drawings and data, performance test data, statutory and regulatory information) as required by the project scope and on-time to the customer
• Evaluates project results against stated objectives and determines corrective action.
• Participates in practical process improvement (PPI) projects and activities, using Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) tools to evaluate gaps or misses in performance and establish sustainable corrective and preventative actions

What will you bring to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration) or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience setting and achieving goals, managing time, tasks and risks, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking, preferably in a related industry
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience developing strong customer relationships in a dynamic environment, proactively anticipating, understanding and responding to the needs of (internal) customers to meet or exceed their expectations
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams and with partners and to motivate and influence
• Ability to evaluate relevant facts, data and information to provide accurate reports, problem solve, and suggest workable solutions
• Proficiency in appropriate project planning tools and Microsoft applications to communicate milestones, critical path activities and responsibilities
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred
• Knowledge of AI, Agile and Lean methodologies is a plus.
